The Bushner Family

Milissa and Cole came to my home studio to make photos as a Father's Day surprise for Greg. We had a great time, and Milissa pulled off the surprise. :)










The Borg Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Borg kids a few years ago, so I was thrilled when Julie called me to come back and photograph them again! Of course, it is *crazy* to see how much they have changed. :) Last time we did an outdoor shoot, so this time we went studio style with a charcoal background.









The Potter Family

I photographed the Potters on the ridge, at the Augustin Bernal Park. Rachel and Sarah looked like little wood sprites, at home in the trees and the tall grasses.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation - Part One

Well, the kids went back to school this week, which means I am getting back to work! I have completely neglected my blog this summer. But it IS wedding season! If you have nothing to do, check out my other blog to see how I have been keeping busy.

We kicked off the summer with a trip to Tahoe, to celebrate the wedding of my brother Geoff and my new sister, Joleen. We had a blast! My incredible business partner Kim did the lion's share of shooting, so that I could enjoy the day with my family. Kim made photos I will treasure for a lifetime, as well as captured me doing double-duty...bridesmaid and photographer.

I love shooting the first dance-- so emotional!

In the days following the wedding, we hung out with good friends at Nevada Beach. The view was spectacular!

I would have loved to post these fun pictures earlier, but some of these moms have actually managed to pull off a surprise for dad. :) So, now that the special day is here, I have no problem spilling the beans! Kalli Crawford Designs

Recently, I photographed an incredible line of hand crafted jewelery, created by local gal Kalli Crawford. Kalli is preparing to launch a new website, showcasing all of her popular lines, including the new vintage looking patina-brass. We had some fun shooting some of her new stuff, with the help of her beautiful daughters, Jessica and Sarah. Check it out!

The Hopkins Family

I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Hopkins clan-- three generations of wonderful people. For you locals, Becky Hopkins is the director of the Gingerbread preschool, which both of my children attended and loved loved loved. I can't say enough about the play-based curriculum and dedicated staff there. So it was no surprise to meet Becky's parents, and experience the magical home and garden in which they raised their three children. These grandkids are soooooo lucky!
